All-terrain stroller that is lightweight durable, sturdy and provides excellent maneuverability. The compact fold that can be folded with just one hand makes it simple to transport. It also stands on its own when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Newborn suitability? Yes and with a carrycot.

Good suspension and air-filled tyres will handle rough terrain well. It's also suitable for jogging, although you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old to do this.

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent choice for parents who want lightweight strollers with added features. It comes as an all-in-one travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat, and a choice of group 0+ car seat, so you can have everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a really impressive buggy, and it's easy to see why it's received so many high marks from customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg and it's easy to construct. In fact I was able to complete the entire setup and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a nice wide, comfortable seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very easy to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of space and I like that the handle bar has a pocket to keep your phone and keys secure.

The only slight downside is that the handlebar is quite low, which can be a problem for taller parents. However, it's encased in a lovely leather-like material that's soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, making it still easy to push with children and bags on your hands!

The Runner is for parents who enjoy exploring and are always on the go. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field paths, and the front twin 3 wheel stroller can be swivelled and locked to give you more flexibility. The stroller also features a 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child secure on all trips. The parking brake will keep the stroller stationary while you take a rest. The comfortable seat is easy to recline to a lying position and the canopy can be opened to allow with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.

No matter if you're taking a quick jog or a hike that lasts a while, the Runner will be there to accompany you on all your adventures with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee a bump-free ride. The Pace is a great option from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which prides itself on making easy-to-use and simple essentials for parenting. It's the latest - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller range and as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable so you can use it right from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design elements, including rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims, which really distinguish it from. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are fashionable and there's the option of adding an coordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.

The stroller seat is used from birth until 22kg. It can easily be converted into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat comes with several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy that has concealed zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.

Furthermore, when folded it's Pace measures 56 32 x 43 cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other airlines. Two buttons on either side are easy to use and click into place.

I tested it with my two kids - an infant and an eight-week old - across rough terrain, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.

The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure 22cm or 30cm in diameter are able to handle various terrains. They also come with a handy flap that can open or closes to let more air to circulate should you need it this is a nice touch. It's a bit larger than most pushchairs, but it does not feel heavy or bulky when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The seat fabric can be washed by machine and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than some pushchairs, and I felt safe using it in busy city streets. It comes with accessory points that allow you to attach parasols and footmuffs and also changing bags, snack trays, and even snack trays. The hood can be used to block out the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort 3 wheeled strollers board (not included), which gives your child more leg room. It took about 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and the same amount of time to convert it to the seat.
