관련링크How to Replace an audi key blade G28 Engine Speed Sensor
In this video, Charles the humble mechanic demonstrates how to replace the G28 engine speed sensor. This sensor is situated on the outside of the transmission over the flywheel gear. It transmits a signal to the ECU through a grey wire T55/49, then to the tachometer located on the instrument cluster. 1. Engine Speed Sensor It is located on the outside of the transmission, above the flywheel ring gear the G28 Engine Speed Sensor sends signals to ECU pin T55/49 via an uncolored wire. The ECU then utilizes this information to regulate the boost, fuel, and timig. It also sends an indication to the G5 tachometer in the instrument cluster. The sensor is used to link the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu must know when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is so it can activate spark and injectors accordingly. If this sensor fails to function, the ECU will display an error code P00160. This indicates that the Crank Shaft is not in alignment with the Intake Camshaft. It could also indicate a chain stretch or a jumpy chain link in the upper chain. The code won't appear without the additional information supplied by other sensors (G4 or G40). It's a bit tricky to test as there are various pins on the connector and they all have different functions. The most effective method to test it is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. If the sensor is operational, it should be reading about 1000 ohms. Examine replacement key for audi a4 signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you have issues with this component. 2. Injectors Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a massive decrease in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs. Three were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. When I start the engine with no sparks, I put a piece of tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 drenched with gazoline leap out, however the 4th stays closed. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got 0ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is in another place. I also tried to reset the PID without success. The replacement car key audi can start when the G28 is unplugged and it runs perfectly when it is plugged in however it has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62), even if it is not plugged in, shows a temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars while the actual pressure is zero. I don't know what to do. I feel like i've pretty much all other possibilities out. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. Please let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA! 3. Fuel Pump The fuel pump in the g28 receives signals from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is identical to the G4 sender and both work on the 80,100,200, UrS, and RS2 vehicles. You can easily find a spare in a wrecking shop or a parts store. It is simple to test them: simply switch your DMM into resistance mode and measure the distance between pins 1 and 2 (with the bump at the connector's end facing up). They should be infinite Ohms. 4. ECU The ECU of our 20vt turbo (3B AAN ABY) engines needs to be aware of the position and speed the crankshaft to make decisions regarding fuel injector timing, etc. To accomplish this, it utilizes a Crank Position Sensor audi Replacement Keys (G4) and an Engine Speed Sensor (G28). If either of these go wrong, you will receive codes on the diagnostic scanner which could cause engine shut down. Some of the symptoms of a failed G28 sensor are an inaccurate gearbox rev counter the gears are shifting faster than normal and/or a misfire when you're in gear. If you experience any of these issues it is likely that your sensor is failing and should be replaced. They are cheap and easy-to-find, especially in the case of a Bosch model like ours. Alternately, the GM version of this component is also a good option. 5. Tachometer A malfunctioning engine sensor can cause a number of problems within your vehicle. It's an essential component of the audi car key replacement cost's transmission as it sends information to the ECU about how the car's crankshaft is rotating. If this sensor fails, it will cause problems for the transmission, as well as the rest of the car's components. The G5 engine sensor is located at the outskirts of transmission, above the flywheel ring. It sends an electrical signal through an uncolored wire to the ECU pin T55/49. The ECU is then able to process this signal to control fuel, timig, and boost and then sends it on to the G5 Tachometer located in the instrument cluster. You can test for sensor failure by examining the continuity from the sensor to the tachometer. Also, you can verify continuity between pin T55/49 of the ECU and pin T6a/1 of the instrument cluster (trace [79]) and between pin T6a/1 as well as pin T26a/12. You should observe around 1000 ohms of resistance between those points. This is a common part that is found across the replacement audi key cost 80 100, 200, UrS and RS2 range from 1985 MC until the 1997 UrS AAN and 1995 RS2 ADU, so the best parts could be found in wrecking yards. |
