WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. A random substat is also increased with every upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item upgrading level, however they'll always be cheaper than purchasing new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades.
