This is the lightest and smallest stroller for travel available. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a chic rectangle shape, and the wheels are much easier to turn than other models.

The stroller also has an ample storage space under the seat as well as a shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjuster can create a lot of noise, which might disturb a sleeping toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that offers many features for its size. The basket in the back of the seat features a spring-loaded mechanism, which means you can push the basket down to place a backpack or diaper bag and it will then pop up to secure the contents. It also comes with an accessory tray for children and an adjustable backrest pad for the seat, which are more options than you normally get on a stroller that is light.

It also has a canopy that can be closed and opened to get the sun protection level you want. The handlebars can be adjusted in height for a comfortable fit in four different positions. We weren't too impressed by its performance on rough surfaces. We felt the suspension and wheels did not do a good job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is an excellent option for those who require a lightweight travel stroller. It has all the features that parents want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain tires and front suspension for a smooth ride. It is also incredibly lightweight with less than 12 pounds. It can be folded with one hand and stands up on its own. It even has a child tray and parent tray, each with two cup holders.

The quality, however it is at the lower end, and it did not fare well in our tests of maneuverability. It has a flexible frame, which makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting heavy weights. This may be okay if you only use the stroller on paved streets, but for the majority people, it's likely to not be comfortable.

It also has a five-point safety restraint. This is a great feature for older toddlers who have outgrown infant car seats.

It's compact and folds up in a single step. It can be collapsed by pressing an appropriate button. It also features a convenient foot-activated break that is easy to install and release.

The handle is lower than most of the strollers we have tested, and some parents might feel uncomfortable using it for extended periods. It does have the ability to lock the handle to keep it in place while open, though. This is an excellent feature to use the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents who are on the move. The compact stroller can be folded up and down with ease and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of planes, or trunks in amusement parks (no need to worry about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for easy storage. It is able to be used from birth using the infant car seat adapter and provides plenty of sun protection with its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only downside for certain parents is that they consider the look cheap and utilitarian.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a little more expensive than other lightweight Single gb stroller strollers however, it was created specifically for luxurious travel and urban living. It's among the smallest strollers to fold (and includes a convenient carry case) It also offers plenty of storage, including a cup holder. The seat reclines nearly flat for both children and adult. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used for a newborn with the car seat adapter. Some parents with shorter legs might not appreciate the handlebar that does not adjust.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it has a lot of amazing features that help children travel more easily. The spacious seat reclines to a flat position, and has additional padding to make the naps on planes last longer. The extendable canopy offers adequate sun protection, while the parent tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also comes with a spring-loaded handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. This footrest is vulnerable to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

Uppababy's Minu V2 is a high-end stroller that doesn't compromise on quality and design. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces, however its robust construction means it can handle rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. The spring-action suspension in the rear and front creates a more comfortable ride, and the durable materials ensure that it will withstand everyday wear and tear. Additionally it can be enlarged to accommodate other accessories such as baby car seat.

In our testing, the Minu was a breeze to fold and move around even with a baby in the hand. The squat fold, which splits into three parts is among the easiest we tested. This allows it to easily fit into overhead compartments in planes and on public transport. It has a single buggy for sale-action color-coded brake that is easy to use.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is the well-known brand of strollers offers various models. This lightweight stroller is a great option for parents looking for a sturdy stroller that can take their children. It is simple to move, has plenty of storage, and isn't difficult to fold. It's not the ideal choice for those who want a car seat-compatible model or a double stroller. It won't work with infant car seats, and your infants will need to be able to sit on their own before they can use the stroller from the first day.

This stroller is packed with features and comes at a price that is very reasonable. It earned a higher score in our maneuverability review than other strollers with similar specs, and is an excellent choice for smooth paved surfaces. It also has a lovely canopy and plenty of storage including a large tray for parents. The handlebar is shorter than the average, and the front wheel suspension is more rigid, but it is still comfortable for adults.

If you have twins, or two children who are different ages you may discover a side by side stroller the best option to transport them. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which offers plenty of features and a small footprint that can be used in places that other side-by-side alternatives can't.

It features reclining seats that are individually adjustable, a large canopy with an open window, and plenty of storage. It's heavier than the other side-bysides however it has a good capacity and weight limit. It can carry most kids up to 50 pounds. You can even add a bassinet to front of the stroller for infants.

The Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller is an elegant version of the stroller. It has the same great features and can be outfitted with a bassinet so that you can take your baby home in style from the hospital.
