Aside from that blip the fridge is a great choice. It boasts a spacious freezer compartment, which is uncommon in counter-depth French door fridges, and it holds a good amount of frozen food as compared to similar models.

Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is the standard for a fridge with a French door at this price. It has a decent sized icemaker in the left door. However it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to make a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is attractive. The LED lighting adds an attractive accent. The in-door storage bins come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, but I found their plastic textured coatings to be a little rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support, and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices, lets you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and offers many options for customizing. It also sends you notifications when the door is unlocked as well as when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill which is an option that is available in a few other GE refrigerators that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to dispense at once. Created to appear like a seamless piece of your kitchen Bosch's French-door refrigerator looks seamless and is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a veggie compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer periods, and dual compressors to preserve food items. The ice maker is one of the best we've ever tested and produces a pyramid-shaped Ice with low use of water. This fridge is the perfect option for a single family or kitchenettes looking for a sleek design and top of the line food preservation.

This refrigerator was rated as the best in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed more than a tiny fraction - this is crucial to avoid freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well. It reached the initial temperature within an hour, and maintained that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is known for its high-end appliances, so it's no surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi network and Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app lets you monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive however, it offers excellent features and capabilities at a fair price.

It's important to understand the limitations of your fridge. It has a small space for shelves, so you may have to think creatively when storing tall items. Additionally the shelves aren't sprillproof and can be easily damaged or stained by sharp objects. The trays can be easily removed from the fridge. However, they should be cleaned frequently to stop the growth of mold.

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage space into an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with an ordinary French door layout, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to give tall items more space. There's also a full-width storage drawer for products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.

The refrigerator comes with an ice maker, making it easy to move the frozen ice whenever you need it. The freezer also has thoughtful design features, such as sliding drawers that allow you to organize your belongings. It also has a large container to store frozen food items, and a separate container for ice.

Another cool feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can manage the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a simple way to keep track of your refrigerator and control it, especially when away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't necessarily enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill foods in this refrigerator than other refrigerators we test. This is likely due to the greater capacity.

Another issue with the door of this refrigerator. They have handles that are sunken on the front, which allow shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, but they're still difficult for taller people to steer shut without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a ideal option for those looking to combine the benefits of a French-door fridge's aesthetics with an efficient layout. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.

If you're looking for an French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a simple fridge that may not be as eye-catching like some of its competitors however it has enough features to make a an excellent choice. Its most important characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer, which helps keep foods like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated over the two crisper bins, is a excellent feature. This drawer lets you divert some of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, meaning you can store foods that need extra attention. You can adjust this feature using the slider located on the on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling level for the entire fridge however, I've found that changing the generic settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.

During my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. That's a good performance however it doesn't make it into the top ten in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
