Best Lightweight Single Stroller

Travel strollers don't get much smaller or lighter than this one. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a stylish rectangle shape, and the wheels are a lot easier to turn than others.

It also comes with a huge under-seat storage space and an adjustable shoulder strap which makes it easier to carry around when you're not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be a bit noisy which can disturb children who are asleep.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that offers many features for its size. The back basket under the seat is spring loaded, which means you can lower it to put bags for diapers or backpacks into and it will then pop up to secure the contents. It has a child accessory holder as well as an adjustable seat pad that reclines. This is more than you would find on a typical lightweight stroller.

It also comes with a canopy that can be closed and opened to get the sun protection level you need. The handlebars are adjustable in height to allow for a comfortable fit four different positions. We weren't so impressed with its performance on rough surfaces. We were of the opinion that the wheels and suspension didn't do a great job of absorbing bumps and shocks.

The stroller is great for traveling because it is fully assembled in the box. It only takes just a few steps to get it ready for use. The seat can be pushed forward and back to adjust the recline. It's pretty flat. It's easy to fold and unfold due to two buttons on the frame. It also fits in an easy-to-carry bag when it's not in use. It's actually one of the most compact strollers we tested, and it can meet the requirements of many airlines for gate-checking, or cabin storage on airplanes. Make sure to check with your airline to determine if there are any restrictions before you fly. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This is a great choice to those looking for a stroller that is lightweight. It has all the features parents are looking for in a stroller. It has all-terrain tires and front suspension for an easy ride. It's also incredibly light with less than 12 pounds. And 9324874 it has a convenient fold that can be folded with one hand and a self-standing fold. It even has an adult tray and a child tray each with two cup holders.

The quality, however, is a little on the low side and it did not perform well in our maneuverability tests. It has a flexible frame, which makes pushing it on rough surfaces feel like lifting heavy weights. It may be fine if you only use the stroller on paved sidewalks. However, for most people, it's not ideal.

Cloud Plus Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy and a peek-a-boo window for additional sun protection. Its multi-position seat can be used by children up to 50 pound and has five points of safety restraint. This is a great feature for older toddlers who have outgrown infant car seats.

It's compact and folds down in one step. It can be folded by pressing an appropriate button. It also has a convenient, foot-activated break that is simple to create and then release.

The handle is lower than most strollers we've tested however some parents may feel uncomfortable using it for long periods. It does have the ability to lock the handle to keep it in place when opened, though. This is a great feature to have in case you are going to be using the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents who are on the go. The compact stroller folds down and 9324874 up easily and fits in the overhead compartments of planes, or trunks at amusement parks (no need to fret about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter right from birth and offers good sun protection with its canopy. The only issue is that some parents find the style to be a bit utilitarian and expensive.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a little more expensive than other lightweight single strollers however, it was created specifically for luxurious travel and urban living. It's among the smallest strollers that fold (and comes with a handy carry case) and offers plenty of storage space, including cups holder. The seat is comfortable for the child and the adult, and reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller in our list that comes with an adapter for car seats that can allow it to be used with babies. Some parents with shorter legs might not like the handlebar, which doesn't adjust.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the most lightweight stroller, but it is packed with amazing features that help children travel more easily. Its spacious seat reclines to a flat position, and comes with extra padding so that those naps on the plane last longer. The extendable canopy offers good sun protection, and the parent tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also has an adjustable handle that doubles as a footrest when folded. The footrest, however, seems vulnerable to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller with a top-quality design and high-end. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces, however its robust construction means it can take on rough terrain without compromising your child's comfort. The spring-action suspension at the front and rear ensures an even more comfortable ride and its durable materials will stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. Furthermore it can be enlarged to accommodate additional accessories like a bassinet or infant car seat.

In our testing during our testing, the Minu was easy to fold and maneuver even with a baby in the hand. The squat fold, which can be divided into three sections is among the easiest folds we tested. This allows it to fit easily in overhead compartments of planes and on public transport. It has a single-action, color-coded brake that is easy to use.

The seat reclines in multiple positions and the leg rest can be adjusted with one hand, making it easy to find your child's perfect position. The UPF 50+ hood came down quite a ways, which was great for protecting Cora's eyes from sun (though not quite as low as other strollers). The medium-sized mesh window is attached magnetically to the canopy and shuts without the need for noisy Velcro.

The Minu weighs in at just 15 pounds and comes with a built-in handle for easy carrying. It also has an adjustable shoulder strap. It can be tucked away in the trunk of your car, and comes with a storage case and Uppababy TravelSafe which extends the manufacturer's warranty by two years and provides the cost of replacement if something is damaged during travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy, the well-known brand of strollers that makes a variety of models. This lightweight stroller is ideal for parents looking for a sturdy stroller to transport their children. It is simple to move, has plenty of storage, and isn't difficult to fold. It's not the best choice if you want a car seat-compatible model or a double stroller, though. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your babies should be able to sit upright on their backs before they can use it.

This stroller is brimming with features and comes at a very affordable price. It earned a higher score in our review of maneuverability than some other models with similar specs, and it's an excellent option for smooth pavements. It also has a lovely canopy and plenty of storage including a large tray for parents. The front wheel suspension is stiff and the handlebar is a bit smaller than the norm, but it offers a comfortable ride for adults.

If you have twins or two kids of different ages, you could discover that a stroller with a side-byside feature is the best way to get them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which has a variety of features and a small footprint that fits in places that other side-by-side options can't.

It comes with reclining seats and a huge canopy with a peek-a-boo window and tons of storage. It's a bit heavier than some other side-by-sides but it has a decent weight capacity and can handle most children up to 50 lbs. You can add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller to accommodate newborns.

It comes with the same great features and is able to be fitted with a bassinet so you can take your baby home in style after leaving the hospital.
