Three Wheeled Buggies

Kath wrote "it feels sturdy to push and is very stable when traversing difficult terrain. The tyres, which are inflatable and need to be pumped up regularly, have built-in suspension. It was extremely comfortable for my children.

Another thing to consider is the size of the seat and shape. It should be big enough for your child's comfort. You will also need it to recline to allow them to lie flat. Some three-wheel buggies have a lie-flat option that allows the child to face you, while other buggies only allow a parent-facing one.

This can be an issue if you're using it as an exercise bike or to to get through doors that are narrow when out and about. Fortunately, many models come with compact folding options that allow you to take off the front wheels to create more compact storage.

Easy to Manoeuvre

One of the primary benefits to a three-wheeled buggy is that it's much more maneuverable especially with a child in tow. The way they are constructed means that the front wheels spin on a dime and are really easy to maneuver and are ideal for tricky terrain such as parks, cobbles or bumpy pavements, as well as dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried an all-wheeler with her toddler. she said: "The Terrain is a pleasure to drive in rough terrain. The swivel wheel front was particularly useful." I was also awed by how well it coped with the kerbs, particularly when using the brake operated by hand. I found it to be extremely steady when I was driving downhill or over uneven ground."

The only drawback of this amazing maneuverability is that the three wheel buggy's larger wheels do sometimes mean it has to struggle in tight spaces - something to keep in mind especially if you live in a urban region. If this is a concern then a 4-wheel buggy may be a better option for you.
