Three Wheeled Buggies

MFM reviewer Kath tried this buggy on an infant and a toddler and found it to be very robust. It handled grass, cobbles and rough pavements, as well as dirt tracks and kerbs. Kath said it felt solid to push, and very solid on difficult terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable, so require occasionally pumping) have suspension built-in that was very comfortable for my children.

Another thing to take into consideration is the seat size and shape. You'll want it to be big enough for your child's comfort. You will also require it to recline for them to lie flat. Some three-wheel buggies offer the option of lying flat, which allows your child to lie flat and face you, whereas others only allow a face-to-parent one.

The way they are built ensures that the front wheels spin at a quick pace and are incredibly easy to maneuver and are ideal for difficult terrains like cobbles, parks, bumpy pavements and dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3-wheeler with her toddler, and she reported: "The Terrain is a pleasure to drive on uneven terrain. The swivel wheel in the front was particularly useful." I was also impressed with how well it dealt with bumps, particularly when using the hand-operated brake. I found it extremely stable when driving downhill or over uneven terrain."

The only downside to this incredible maneuverability is that the larger wheels of a 3 wheel pushchair with car seat wheel buggy might make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something to keep in mind if your home area is a city. If this is a problem then a 4-wheeled buggy could be a better option for you.
