Mesothelioma and Other Asbestos Related Cancers

People who have a long exposure to asbestos are at risk of developing a variety of types of cancers, such as mesothelioma. These cancers have a long latency period, meaning symptoms do not manifest for many years after exposure.

What is Mesothelioma?

Veterans who were in the military are at greater risk of developing mesothelioma due to asbestos because it was commonly employed on bases and ships.

Treatment
